Graphic Design is a very powerful medium that evokes sentiments, brings about social change, influences minds and attitudes. Hence a graphic designer needs to be well rounded, aware, compassionate and courageous.
The Graphic Design Programme at TDV helps students centre themselves, develop attitudes and positions with regards to situations and contexts. The scope of a Graphic Designer extends much beyond creating pretty pictures, to making impact and changing lives.

- Materials and mediums – Multiple modes and format of representation, appropriate tools and technology Visual culture and semiotics – cultural anthropology, expression of culture through visual media and psychological perspectives.
- Typography, Animation, Publication and Web technologies – skills necessary to create impactful visual communication. Various hand skills and software skills are imparted through integrating with other discipline specific courses
