Education at IIAD strives to rethink traditional concepts of teaching and learning. The courses are taught not in classrooms but creative studio spaces, especially designed to ensure that the students get extensive practical exposure and hands-on learning within the disciplines.
The state-of-the art campus is an extension of the college’s unique pedagogy that focuses on project based and interdisciplinary learning. The 70,000 sqft campus houses undivided studio spaces for each of the degree programmes. In addition, the students have access to workshop areas (with the required tools and equipment), a Construction Lab, Pattern making lab, Computer (MAC) Labs, Material transformation lab, photography lab, art shop, cafeteria and a recreation room among other facilities. Strategically located in Okhla Industrial Area, the students have easy access to Industry and a variety of source material for their projects.
